True Natural Beauty, The Konjak Sponge 101
WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?
These sponge cakes are made from Natural Konjac roots that grow in Asia. Asia is the only place that you can buy them from. These are from South Korea. They were first created by Japanese farmers to cleanse babies' skins, hence the gentleness.

WHY SHOULD I USE KONJAC SPONGE FOR MY FACE?
We love them and so does our lead Aesthetician and head of R&D department Rosemary Berger, she says.

“they are gentle but really effective, totally alkaline which leaves the skin balanced and can be used with any cleanser, furthermore these sponges will remove much more than with a washcloth, wipe or your hands”

This beauty must-have sloughs away dry patches and flakes leaving skin brighter softer and smoother. Try running the point of the teardrop side of the sponge around the eye to exfoliate that tender under-eye skin while swiping away any mascara residue.
HOW TO USE KONJAC:
Soak sponge in water for 5 minutes to expand and soften. Give it a squeeze to wring out excess water, and apply your favorite cleanser. Use sponge in a circular motion. Rinse your skin. Rinse your Konjac and hang to dry.

WHAT IS THE CARE AND LIFE OF KONJAC?
Even though these sponges are antibacterial, they are not self-cleaning. Don’t let anyone else use your sponge and toss after a month. Make sure to suds and clean it if there is any makeup build-up that doesn’t rinse clean. Do not leave it in a humid place or shower, let it dry between uses.

WHY DON'T THEY COME WET, ANYMORE?
We were told due to Covid that the company was not allowed to send the sponges wet anymore.

CAN I USE IT ALL OVER MY BODY?
Yes.

CAN I COMPOST THIS VEGETABLE ROOT?
Yes.
